A free 2D multiplayer shooter in your browser
Shots Fired is a fast Soldat-like platform shooter: tiny soldiers with jet boots, a dozen weapons, ragdoll deaths and a lot of gibs. Deathmatch or capture the flag, up to 8 players per server, with bots to fill the gaps. No download, no account, no install — open the page and play. Keyboard and mouse, desktop browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
Play with friends
- Pick a callsign and press CREATE SERVER: choose a map, mode (deathmatch or CTF), bot count, time limit and kill/cap limit. Add a password if you want it private.
- Share the 5-letter server code or the invite link. Friends press JOIN SERVER and enter the code, or click the link.
- Press PLAY WITH BOTS to practice offline — 1 to 9 bots, any map, any mode.
The server creator's browser runs the match; a lightweight relay on Cloudflare connects everyone. If the host leaves, the room closes.

Movement tech: momentum slide-hops, ground rolls that keep speed, dives, jet backflips, rocket jumps and minigun lift. Surf steep slopes; jump-crouch to tuck through low gaps.
Weapons
Primary: Desert Eagles (dual), HK MP5, M16A2, Spas-12, M134 Minigun, Barrett M82A1, M79 Grenade Launcher, Ruger 77. Secondary: USSOCOM, M72 LAW (fire from a crouch), Chainsaw. Everyone also carries a combat knife and frag grenades. Headshots do 1.8× damage; explosions tear ragdolls apart.
Maps
13 built-in maps: Arena, Towers, Rooftops, The Well, Floodlights, The Spine, Wreckage, Carmelo and Altitude for deathmatch; Bases, The Chasm, Stalemate and Islands for capture the flag. The built-in map editor draws polygon terrain with textures, spawns and items, test-plays in-engine, saves to your browser and lets you host your own maps online.
